Sliced Fresh Bell Peppers
- Ingredients
- Fresh bell peppers: three or four of (orange, red, green, yellow) peppers
- Try to prepare and serve the same day as purchased.
- Implements
- Sharp paring knife.
- Large cutting board.
- One storage bowl.
- Operations
- From each bell pepper:
- Cut out the hat; discard. Slice the pepper in two,
- Rinse out excess seeds. Cut out any surplus whitish tissue.
- Cut the pepper halves into thin strips.
- Place in the serving bowls in alternating colors.
- Care
- Do not let the sliced peppers lay out in a warm room.
- Refrigerate when not meal time.
