Hawaiian Pizza
- Ingredients
- Two small (5 ounce) packages of Canadian bacon
- One rectangular (Albertsons) pizza crust from the specialties breads rack.
- Half jar of marinara sauce
- 8 oz plus of shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 8 oz packet of thinly sliced Provolone cheese.
- Tools
- Standard round pizza pan
- Large skillet, PAM, metal cooking screen to fit the skillet.
- Metal spatula.
- Big sharp knife to cut the finished product.
- Preparations
- Pre-heat oven using the pizza setting.
- On a large cutting board, slice the pizza crust in half. Put one half in the pan. Cut the second half into two pieces that fit in the pan.
- Spread the marinara sauce on the crust.
- Drop about half the Mozzarella over the sauce.
- Use all of the Canadian bacon to cover the sauce and cheese.
- Sprinkle the rest of the shredded Mozzarella over Canadian bacon.
- Cut the drained pineapple rings into eighths. Spread the segments on top of the pizza.
- Place 9 or 10 slices of Provolone on top.
- Cook for 13 minutes. Remove. Let cool 10 minutes. Cut into sixteen pieces of roughly equal bite plus size.
- Serve with optional dry red pepper chips.
