Pizza
- Ingredients
- One pound mild Italian bulk sausage
- One Boboli pizza crust
- One Boboli pizza sauce packet
- 8 oz packet of Mozzarella shredded cheese
- 8 oz packet of thinly sliced Provolone cheese.
- At least 20 slices of pepperoni.
- Half of a small onion. Slice into thin arcs, about one eighth of a circle.
- Half of a fresh bell pepper, sliced very thinly.
- Tools
- Standard round pizza pan
- Large skillet, PAM, metal cooking screen to fit the skillet.
- Metal spatula.
- Big sharp knife to cut the finished product.
- Preparations
- Cook the sausage. Crumble as you go.
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
- Place the pizza crust on the pizza pan.
- Spread the Boboli sauce on the crust.
- Drop about half the Mozzarella over the sauce.
- Sprinkle the onion chips over the parmesan.
- Sprinkle the thin bell pepper slices next.
- Over half the pizza, spread the cooked Italian sausage liberally.
- Over the other half, place the pepperoni slices.
- Cover with the remaining Mozzarella. Place 9 or 10 slices of Provolone on top.
- Cook for 13 minutes. Remove. Let cool 10 minutes. Cut into six pieces of roughly equal size.
- Serve with optional dry red pepper chips.
