Tritip Beef Roast

  1. Ingredients
    1. Two packages of Lipton dry Beefy Onion soup
    2. One tritip roast, 4 or so pounds.
  2. Implements
    1. Roasting pan
    2. Mechanical knife or sharp large knife
    3. Two bowls, one for rare cuts, one for more fully cooked slices
    4. hot pads
  3. Operations
    1. Spray the roasting pan with PAM.
    2. Place the roast in the pan,
    3. Cover the roast with the two packages of beefy onion soup.
    4. Pre-heat the over to 350 degrees
    5. Cook about 80 minutes.
    6. Test by cutting into the meat.
    7. Cut into thin slices. Rare in one bowl, more well-done in the other.

  4. White sauce
    1. In a small, sealable container, mix the ingredients together.
    2. A few Tablespoons of mayonnaise.
    3. Add Dijon mustard. Mix well. Add more to taste.

  5. Serving
    1. CBC likes the rare. CEC likes the well done.
    2. Both like the white sauce.
