Tritip Beef Roast
- Ingredients
- Two packages of Lipton dry Beefy Onion soup
- One tritip roast, 4 or so pounds.
- Implements
- Roasting pan
- Mechanical knife or sharp large knife
- Two bowls, one for rare cuts, one for more fully cooked slices
- hot pads
- Operations
- Spray the roasting pan with PAM.
- Place the roast in the pan,
- Cover the roast with the two packages of beefy onion soup.
- Pre-heat the over to 350 degrees
- Cook about 80 minutes.
- Test by cutting into the meat.
- Cut into thin slices. Rare in one bowl, more well-done in the other.
- White sauce
- In a small, sealable container, mix the ingredients together.
- A few Tablespoons of mayonnaise.
- Add Dijon mustard. Mix well. Add more to taste.
- Serving
- CBC likes the rare. CEC likes the well done.
- Both like the white sauce.
